Who was jesse head's parents? I am looking for information on William Head born in SC about 1810. His wife was Sarah Thompson she was born in SC also about 1810. They were married in Hall Co, GA on November 23 1829. I know that William also had a daughter Caroline born about 1833 in GA. They also had a son John J born abt 1830. John J married Mary J Waters. John J is a great-great-great grand father to my husband.

thank you,
Maria

Ron,

The youngest daughter of Jesse and Cynthia was Milie Catherine Head. She married my gguncle Robert Connor Moore in Fannin County, Texas March 15, 1898. They first lived in the Indian Territory and then moved to Denison, Texas in Grayson County.

They had two children; Ollie LaVella and Clyde.

After Robert died sometime after 1930 the family moved to Fort Worth in Tarrant County.

October 18, 1950 Milie fell and broke her left hip. She was operated on in the St. Joseph's Hospital in Fort Worth on October 19, 1950 and died October 26, 1950.

She was apparently buried in the Oakwood Cemetery (Denison City Cemetery) in Denison, Texas. Probably beside her husband Robert.

Ollie LaVella married Thomas W. Pangle Jan 12, 1920 in Grayson County, Texas. Clyde has been impossible to track.

Do you have any idea when and where Jesse and Cynthia passed away. Where are they buried? I noticed many of their children stayed in Alabama where they were born. Do we know why Milie Head ended up in Texas?

Regards,

Larry Standlee

Wow I've been away for a long time after almost giving up on finding anything about Jessee's family. Thanks for the information. I don't know the answer to your questions, but I do have pretty good info on Jessee's siblings that I could share with you if you're interested.
