I hope you may be able to help me. My great grandfather was Fred T Heacox born Dec 1902 -in Texas is my understanding, he moved to CA sometime after1932. It's my understanding he may have been married sometime before my great grandmother, Frances. I know he spent from 1932-at least 1948 in CA then died in Oregon. From what my grandfather can remember Fred's mother at some point was living in New Mexico.
I'm at a dead end, it's like he doesn't exist before 1932.
thank you

Hello, I am a great grandaughter of Hiram Heacox. He married Lydia Bell in Pennsylvania. They had 4 sons and 1 daughter that passed away before she was 10. Hiram lived in Pennsylvania until 1927, when he and 2 of his sons moved to Los Angeles. Lydia passed away in 1927, at that point Hiram moved. He was born in 1858 and died in 1943 in Los Angeles. Your info does not sound like mine. Do you know anymore? Lee C

Hello Peter,

I'm your Aunt Stephanie :-) Harry Sr was my dad (I am his daughter from his second marriage, to Malvina Orosz). I haven't seen your mom and dad since I was maybe 10 or so? I believe that neither you nor your sister were born yet, only Christopher (do you still call him Topher?)...

Anyway, I moved recently and haven't fully unpacked, but you and Lee (and probably a bunch of people on this board) would be interested to know that I have a copy of a family history for the Heacox's going back to 1776. It has a picture of my dad and grandma (Lucinda) near the beginning, in fact.

Don't quite see how to send a personal email here, but would be happy to get directly in touch! Take care, and love to your parents...

Stephanie

email me andrina_womack@hotmail.com. Jeri is tracking the family back to CT and everywhere and I'm doing all the generations. I've got the family bible and a lot of Heacox pictures. A lot I don't know who they belong too.

Harry Curtis Sr is the son of Harry Leander Heacox and Lucinda Taylor. I believe they both died in Los Angeles and are buried there but nobody has added them to find a grave so that I would have proof of it. andrina_womack@hotmail.com
