grandfather (Ellis Heaberlin)
Trying to trace some of my family history. Not a whole lot of info. Grandfather is from Kentucky. Don't know his parents, wife's name is Elizabeth (maiden name Grizzell or Grizzel)

Does any of your information include Lawrence Heaberlin (Heab)-died around 1969-at the time resided in Kenova, WV and Fallsburg, KY-his mother was originally a Collinsworth. He also had a brother named "Tag" Heaberlin.

Leonard Lawrence Heaberlin, b 4/15/1905; d 5/6/1989 @ Kenova, WV. Parents: Walter Chase Heaberlin and Easter Collinsworth (perhaps Collingsworth). Spouse Eula Lee McGlone, b 1/15/1914, d 4/27/1955 @ Kenova, WV. Walter Chase Heaberlin's parents: Thomas Jefferson Heaberlin and Emmaline Scott.

I believe my grandpa was named Ellis....as a matter of fact, I know he was. We have a family graveyard in Grayson, Kentucky.

Hello Tracy, I am half first cousin to your grandfather Ellis. His father, Charles Berry Heaberlin was half brother to my Dad, Ralph Heaberlin. Charles' mother, Lula Raison was descended from a French Marquis whose descendants came to the US via Santo Domingo, then to New Orleans and up the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers to Greenup, Ky. The family that moved to Greenup was Lula's parents.

My fathers name is Milton Heaberlin. My Grandpa was Ellis Heaberlin. We have a cemetary in Grayson, Ky. Does anyone know my ancestors?
