Dossie Hazel, born in KY 1896, married my great-grandfather, William Floyd Yates between 1910 and 1920 in Herrin, Illinois. Dossie's parents were S. M. (Steve M, b: 3/14/1864, d: 7/13/1929) and Ada A. (maiden name unknown, b: 5/1/1875, d: 11/3/1959). Dossie divorced William (date unknown) and married Roeby M. Sandefur (b: 2/15/1903, d: 11/6/1957. All are buried at Herrin City Cemetary, Herrin, Illinois.

Dossie's sisters are: Etha Hazel, born KY 1893, Mammie Hazel, born KY 1898, and her brother is Carl E. Hazel, age 10 months, born IL, 1910 (or 1909).
