I'm the 9th gr-granddaughter of Richard Haven, and looking for a source that lists Richard's 3rd gr-grandson Jacob Haven (b1795) who married Catherine Streeter, with his son Charles before 1850. I've made attempts at birth, death and marriage certs hoping to find their father/son relationship in ink somewhere but have come up empty.

Maybe someone's been more successful than I have?

My line from the earliest beginning looks like:
Richard=Susanna Newhall
Nathaniel=Elizabeth Travers
James=Sarah
James=Mehitable Bixby
William=Rebecca Jacobs
Jacob=Catherine Streeter
Charles=Margaret Brown (marr 1842)
Charles=Blanche Dunbar...

I have a 1926 first-hand account that Charles Haven and Margaret Brown took a boat in 1858 from Erie, PA to Milwaukee, WI with their son Charles and daughter Laura Ann in tow. Compendiums also state that Jacob "removed to the West" (when in fact he landed in western PA. After that, it seems my Haven branch was and still is lost in the west!
