Virgil Haught appears in the June 1921 "The Quill" as a Freshman II (Parkersburg HS yearbook). Typically that would have him graduating in June 1924. However, there is no listing for him in either 1924 yearbook (they were issued each semester then), so maybe he dropped out?

His sister Velma was a Junior I in the Feb. 1924 yearbook and a Junior II in the May 1925 yearbook, so she must have been one year younger than Virgil. There is also a Bernard Haught in the same books, as a Sophomore I and a Junior II respectively. Seems that Velma must've taken a semester or two off from H.S.? Bernard graduated in 1926, Velma isn't listed at all.
