I am her grandson, Thomas, born in Chicago, 1929. Her first husband, James Needham, died about 1906. They had three children, Thomas, my father, Mae and Anna. I don't know when she married Frank Haubenreiser, (a retired Chicago Fireman), but it probably was in the 1920's. As a youngster, I remember visiting Cleveland with my parents, and meeting Pat and Delia Corley. I don't remember anything about Tom Corley. Am curious about your connection, and whether you've any further information surrounding my grandmother.

My mom was born a Haubenreiser in Charlotte, NC though her mother and father came there from Atlanta. I know that my grandfather had Haubenreiser cousins in the Chicago area. Also my Uncle, whose last name still is Haubenreiser has moved to the Chicago area, though he is not from that group. I know that my mother still talks with one of the Haubenreisers from that part of the world so I will talk to her and see if she knows anything of the person that you are looking for. I know it has been 6 years since you have been on here but if you are still looking i will see what i can do

Hello,
I am sorry that I can't help with individuals from Mary's side of the family but I am interested in the Haubenreisers. My great great aunt Emilie Bargfeldt married Ernst R. Haubenreiser in Chicago sometime in the 1890's. There don't seem to be that many Haubenreisers around in that particular area. Do you happen to have any more information on them. This particular Haubenreiser moved to Grand Rapids Michigan.
Any information you happen to have would be appreciated. Elena

Elena,

Sorry to be so long in replying but you caught me while I was moving. I am only now getting back to searching. I can only tell you that I found Mary's married name and Chicago residence in a obituary for her mother dated 1923. She had been lost (and still is somewhat) until I saw the obituary. I have been unable to find her in connection to her marriage. It doesn't appear that she married in Cleveland, OH which is where all of her siblings and mother lived after they immigrated from Ireland in the early 1890's. How Mary got to Chicago is a mystery and which Haubenreiser she married is a mystery as well to me. Sorry I don't have any information on the Haubenreiser's. That's what I am looking for myself. I will post any information I may find in the future. Good luck to you.

Catherine
