Trying to find the parents of these two brothers that lived in Imperial County, CA in the early 1900's. Both born in Texas and spent time in AZ. I'm told that JR is my great grandfather. JR's death certificate list his mothers maiden name as Griffith. Could this be Evaline Griffith that married Joseph Nathan Hatfield (1815-1887)? If so would this link me back to George Goff Hatfield (1715-1795). I can't find any sources on Eugene Beauharnise Hatfield (1875-1933) that would justify the connection so I'm stumped.

My great granfathers full name is Joseph Robbins Hatfield (1877-1945).

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
