Hi Everyone,

I am trying to learn more about Edward Hassell (surname variations maybe Hazell or Hazel), who was born in Barbados about 1640.

Edward later immigrated to Norfolk County, Virginia, where he married Johanna Biggs and had a family.

If anyone has the CD, English Settlers in Barbados, 1637-1800, a look-up would be greatly appreciated. I just learned about it and hope he may possibly be on it.

I do find a Toby Hazell who came to Barbados in 1635 on the Falcon, from London, but have no idea if there is any relationship.

I'm certainly curious about any DNA projects and testing being conducted as well - if there is a website available to learn more about the results of testing, I would love a link!
