This is just a stray Haskins family that intrigued me because of the Canadian connection, but I cannot find who might be the parents of Erastus. On the 1850 census the family is in Medina Co, OH and Erastus lists his birth place as VT, but on all subsequent censuses he lists his birth place as Canada. He married Sophia A who was b abt 1820 NY.
