I am trying to trace Hoskins/Haskins too. I have not participated in a DNA project as I am not a direct line female. Do you have any Hoskins/Haskins in your tracing back to Turin, NY? I seem to run into Turin quite often. I have read the History of Lewis County with its chapter on Turin and noted a couple of Hoskin men. I am really looking for the parents of Duane Hoskin who was married in Black River, Jefferson County, NY. and is buried in Spring Brook, Wisconsin. See find-a-grave. I know believe that a Mrs Richard Roberts (Emily S. Haskins (?)) may be his sister as she is mentioned in a news article about one of Duane's daughters. Any direction gratefully accepted.
