I found a little bit more. There is one census entry for 1850 which has a Joseph Parker the right age in Warren County. According to the Physicians's listing, he was born in Brandon, which is in Rankin County. They're not far apart, but there's a good chance it is not the same person. The Warren Co Joseph' parents are Edward and Hicksey Anne. Edward is 45, Hicksey is 30. Edward's occupation is listed a horticulturist (I thought that was interesting). He has two siblings, Mary age 3 and Edward age 1.
