My grandfather was John Aaron Hartzog (1882-1956), born in Barbour Co. Worked for the Central of Georgia RR, and lived in several places in SE AL and SW GA.
John Aaron => William Sylvester => James Washington => George Henry (by 2nd wife, Celia Baxley).
This appears to be where your and my trees converge. According to the records I have, your ancestors were George Henry and his first wife, Sarah.
Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
