Joh. Georg Harter DID NOT marry Eva Mikesell. That is now well established and needs to somehow be deleted from the Internet files (good luck!). Documentation has been found that Eva married Jonas Adam.
I recently found an entry in the records of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Congregation, LeHigh County, PA.: Oct 26, 1752 George Herder m. Eva Bracker, Christian Bracker's daughter.
I am pretty confident that this is the correct marriage. Also, It is extremely doubtful that their children were born in Bedford County. There were very few inhabitants of the area that became Bedford prior to 1760 or so and the first recorded birth in that area was in the mid 1769s. I have been unable to uncover any source for the assumption they were born there.
