I just found out that my grandmother's maiden name was Hart. She was born about 1880, where?.

She married a James Galligher of NYC and had one son, James jr 25 Dec 1901. By 1908, she and James split up and she changed James jr's name to Frank Hamilton (although not legally). She had another son, William F Hamilton, don't know if there was a husband on the scene. She later married Walter Koehler and settled in Paterson, NJ. She died in Nov, 1949.

If anyone has a Caroline in their family tree, I'd be really interested in whatever you have.
