I would like to have contact with anyone descended from or researching William Crawford and wife, Margaret Harkness. Margaret Harkness, born approximately 1826 in Sanquhar Parish, Dumfriesshire, was the daughter of Thomas Harkness and his wife, Anne Brown. She married William Milroy Crawford June 15, 1847 (announcement in the Wigtownshire Free Press). They lived in Penninghame Parish, Newton Stewart, Wigtown when their daughters, Jessie and Ann were born. They eventually moved to Australia. William, born in 1823 in Wigtownshire died in 1899 in South Australia. Margaret died in September 20, 1904 at Pinery, in South Australia.
