Hi Tom- you seem to be quite the HARDIN expert - I have been attempting to obtain some sort of a birth record for John Wesley HARDIN or John Wesley DAVIS b Feb 8, 1889 in Gainesville, COoke Co., TX but have been unable to secure this as TX did not keep official birth records until 1903...do you have any suggestions? I did get his parents marriage cert - Ida May Croussore m JD Hardin Oct 24, 1887 in Lipscomb Co., TX - (Ida changed the surname of the children at some point to DAVIS)-look forward to hearing from you. myegge@earthlink.net Michele
