Hannan/Hannam from Cork, Ireland

Hi there, I just discovered my ancestor, who I couldn't find in England, is supposed to come from Ireland. There is a grave in Nelson, New Zealand, the headstone says "To the memory of William Hannan native of Carrictuohill, county Cork, Ireland, died 1,8,1873, aged 40 years and his brother James, died 3.11.1880, aged 32 years". Can anybody tell me anything about these two? They might be the children of Thomas and Mary Hannam. I also can't find Carrictuohill, is there such a place or should this be Carrigtwohill or Carrigeen? Please help, I'm stumped! Dee
