I am searching my GG Grandfather William Frederick Hamilton and his parents James William Hamilton (Master Mariner) and Annie Maria (Keans).
My Grandfather is still alive aged 92, and I would love to give him information on this Grandfather, as he wasn't aware his line came from Norway.

I am trying to find where he /they lived in Norway, when did he leave Norway, how did he travel to Australia etc etc.

I know he married Mary Nelson (Neilson) in 1859 in Victoria Australia at the age of 29, after she died he remarried a Charlotte Josephine Meurillion 1868 in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia aged 38.
William Frederick died in Eaglehawk, Bendigo in 1902.
