Alphius Lamont L. Hamilton was born on Mar. 4, 1850 in Harrisville (Butler Co.), PA. As of 1927, he lived in El Dorado (Butler Co.), KS. On Jan. 12, 1927, he joined the Sons of the American Revolution, on behalf of the service of his Revolutionary War ancestor, Hugh Hamilton.

He is reported to have died in 1932.
