thank you for your reply.i have no further info on charles f hamann other then what i listed on the message board.i have since found laura on the 1940 census & appears she was already widowed or divorced as not living with him.would be interesting to find what year he appears in a detroit city directory with her & then the year he is not listed or at a different address. in 1940 at least until her death in '45 she resided on collinwood.

i am sorry you took offense for all upper case letters....others do the same for all small case.but due to a neck injury,the pinky & ring fingers of both hands are numb & make it difficult to switch between both cases.most people don't even mention it & i see it many times by others.it's a matter of i'm damned if i do or don't no matter which case i choose to use .
