My mother's father was the Henry Hamann who moved to Cloquet, Minnesota. He was born 11 Mar 1878 in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, and died in Cloquet 9 Jan 1940. Within a year or two, his survivors (widow Mildred Christabel DeCou, daughters Marguerite--my mother--and Mildred and son Henry) had moved to California. I'd be happy to share the info I have about Henry's descendants. I have one old photo which I believe shows Henry and his parents and siblings, which I can e-mail you if you'd like. I'd love to have copies of any other photos if available. I got in contact with cousin Barb Turner a couple of years ago and have been remiss in staying connected with her. I'm starting to delve into the Hamann background in Germany/Pomerania and would welcome any information you may have on that. Here in southern California, there is a special interest group of the Immigrant Genealogical Society for Pommeranian research, and I plan to join the group shortly.
