I bought an old photo album with photos from the late 1800s thru 1959. The album is from the Amund Halverson family. He was born in Norway October 14, 1836. He married & came to America in 1869. The family lived in Fillmor County, Minn until he moved his family to Clinton township. He was a founding father and built up a fine dairy farm until retiring in 1906. His son, Anton F. Took over the dairy. Mrs. Halverson passed away June 4, 1920 at 87 yrs old. Amund passed away May 3, 1926. funeral services were held at Poskin Lutheran church were he was an active member.
