Looking for other descendants of the Halpin family from Drogheda (County Louth) Ireland. My great x2 grandfather, Thomas Halpin was born in Drogheda in 1842/3 and immigrated with his wife Bridget Bannon Halpin (1843-1920) and their infant twins in 1872. Upon arriving in the US, he found work with the railroad and they settled in Iowa.

Thomas Halpin's father, who had remained in Drogheda, was James Halpin. One of Thomas's grandchildren visited Drogheda in 1933 and spent time with cousins Anna Halpin and her sister Molly.
