Interested in corresponding with anyone with knowledge about the family and ancestry of one Cruse Maxie Hallmark who was born probably in Houston County, Texas in 1906, married Ara Nichols, and had several children. He lived in Sabine County, Texas in 1920 with his parents, Steve W. and Madora Hallmark; and in 1930 was living in San Augustine County, Texas with his wife and daughter. I believe that Cruse Hallmark died in Houston, Harris County, in 1982.

This person is the only one of the several children born to Steve and Madora Hallmark that I can find in any census. I'm especially interested in knowing what happened to Steve W. Hallmark and his other children.
