A new book was published in 2007 that contains a great deal of information on
Talton Hall, more than has ever been seen before. The book is titled, "The 1885 Jones-Wright Feud." The book contains a great deal of information obtained from documents as to Talt Hall's military service during the Civil War in both the Confederate
Army and later in the Union
Army. Various letters, documents and notes regarding trouble just before during and after the
Jones Wright Feud are in the book. The book points out that records do not support the false claim that Talt
Hall killed his wife, but show that she died in Memphis of a natural illness after having been there a year. The book tells what happened to Talt's girlfriend in the years after he was hanged. The Memphis newspapers chronicaling Talt Hall's arrest there in 1891 and 92 had never been printed since that time. This book is the first to have done that. The book also has documentsthat indicate Talt
Hall was betrayed when he returned to
Virginia at the time he was captured. In fact, it looks as if he had been set up. The book has many other things and can be obtained from the company Xlibris as well as from Amazon.com or
