My grandfather Robert Haley was born in Tennessee in 1879 as McCroskie Hale and he died in 1952 in California. His mother was Elvira B. Scates, His father was John L. Hale. His nickname was "The rolling stone". He built his own homes, had 8-12 children with the first wife and 6 with the second wife (my grandmother Nellie), was always gone on an adventure. He had a brother named Bill in L.A., CA. Not sure if Bill went by Hale or Haley. In 1980 the two families of children met at a reunion in Corona, California
