Caroline Hayes, aged 29, and John Henry White, aged 28, married on 11 July, 1881, at the Anglican Parish Church, St Marys, Rodbourne Cheney, Highworth, Wiltshire. Residence at the time of marriage is Rodbourne Lane, Watchfield, Berks. (one or both??)
The birth of a Mabel White was registered in Highworth (April-June), 1883 - I believe this is the couple's first child. The Whites came to Australia where the birth of Herbert James was registered in 1884. Have not found exactly when they came to Australia, nor is there any registration of Mabel's birth in Australia - the Death Certificates of both Caroline and John show Mabel to be one year older than Herbert (hence the belief that the Highworth Mabel is the couple's first child).
Other children of Caroline and John were Laura Louisa (1886), twins Alice and May (1888) - May died in 1889 - and Carol(line) (1891).
Any connections or information please. Would especially like to know Lucy's surname.
