My grandfather, Louis Hymowitz, left Jasse in 1910-20 and settled in Brooklyn, NY. I am not certain of his father's name. I have a vague reccollection from my father that his name was Chaim Yankel, although that may have been a joke on me as that was also the name of a popular Yiddish comedian of the day.

Louis' sibs were Bennie, Henry, Sammie, Alice, Thelma, Annie and Joey. The women married into the Fader, Horowitz and Moskowitz families.
