HAGEN, ANN C. April 23, 1915 to Feb. 10, 2004 Ann went home to be with the Lord at the age of 88, after a short illness. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Ann was a faithful Catholic who loved people, especially children and babies. She prayed daily for her children Paul and Pat, her grandchildren Kimberly, Eddie, David, Leisa and Lori; her great-grandchildren Courtney, Zachary and Matthew, and her sister Mary. Ann was born in Scranton, PA and enjoyed many good times with her five sisters and one brother. Ann, along with her husband and children, joined three of her sisters here in San Diego in 1957. Her husband Jack died in 1961 and Ann did not remarry. Ann worked at the Globe store in PA, Marstons, Unimart and Two Guys in San Diego and retired in 1980. She enjoyed family gatherings, music, dancing, bowling, walking, playing cards and shopping with her sisters. We will always remember her for her smiling face, her unconditional love, her continual encouragement, her never ending support, her robust sense of humor and her constant peace and contentment in all circumstances. Survivors include daughter Pat Mattachionne of San Diego; son Paul Hagen and his wife Janet of La Mesa; sister Mary Thomas of La Mesa; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
