He gave me his Hagan family Bible with a lot of information in it. Some of the writings are faded and hard to read but I will do my best........

Ernest Reed Hagan and Emma Carter Seaton were married by Rev. F.P. Berkley in Washington D.C. Nov. 6, 1907 (this same Reverend Baptised my father in law Jon Foster Philips Hagan,he was given the name philips from this Reverend and Foster from Mary Foster).

(L?S) Lillie May Hagan and Vernon Schooly were married by Rev. Cummings in Washington D.C. January 2, 1909.

Charles Benjamin Hagan and Mary Elizabeth were married Oct. 14, 1924 in Maryland.

Anna Malinda Hagan and Charles V. were married March 6, 1920 in Baltimore maryland.

Mary P. Hagan married Gerald Sandridge Aug. 7, 1976 in Brenio? Bluff, Va.

Two names that I have but aren't listed as birth or death dates are Martha Hagan October 21, 1905 and Marcie Lynne Clough August 8, 1941

There is another name that I can't quite read because it is very faded Chas or Frac Ezler or ezther, birth date February 1893, death date December 19,1935.

The Foster in my family name comes from Mary Augie Foster She married Jonathan R. Hagan. He is my Husbands Great Grandfather. Mary Foster had a brother named Stephen Collins Foster who wrote the song "Oh, Susannah". She was a school teacher from Boston.

Also In the Hagan family bible are some newspaper clippings.

Dr. Jonathan R. Hagan, retired dentist, died at 86 after a year long illness(it tells about his last address and where his practice was and what he was a member of, etc.) This is very long.


I also have newspaper clippings of a Mrs. Sarah Hagan Pierpoint (interestingly she isn't actually written in the family bible). "Mrs. Sarah Hagan Pierpoint, aged 60 years, widow of Eugene Pierpoint, died very suddenly at a sanitarium in Chevy Chase Maryland where she had been taking treatment for the past five months.She was a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Hannah Hagan of Paeonian springs. During the war Mrs. Pierpoint was in the accounting office of the Navy Department and for the past twelve years had been in Washington in the general accounting department of the Government. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lillie May Schooly of Washington and four brothers, Dr. John Hagan of Boston, Va, Dr. Ernest Hagan of Herndon, J. Frank Hagan of Washington and C.W. Hagan of Paeonian Springs. Funeral services were held Monday from the undertakers at Herndon with burial in Union Cemetary at Leesburg." 1933

If you can't figure out how who is who in this list just ask! I do have some blank spots and I can't go further than around 1829 so if anyone else has some info I'd love to have it.
