Gail, I have a photocopy of the 1870 and 1880 census sections that have Harrison Hagan and his family on them. His wife is listed as Celia on the 1870 census, and on the 1880 it looks more like Celie. She is 45 on the 1870 census. There must be some link between the 2 Hagan Holmes families. We just have to figure out where the link is. Calvin Hagan's age is similar to my Harrison's age, maybe they are brothers? Do you have a state of birth for Calvin on your copy of the census?
