After my grandfather, JAMES WILLIAM HAYES (1877-1948) died in August of 1948, my grandmother, PLURAL BELL CARROLL HAYES (1884-1972) moved out of the home place in Horton, AL.. My mother, BILLIE CARROLL HAYES SIMS (1933-present) was given an oval wooden frame with a picture encased of a young man sitting in a chair and young lady standing, holding a baby.
My mom said she didn't know who the people were in the picture, she just liked the frame.
I would LOVE to be able to identify to young couple. There are NO markings on the back or on the picture. I am not really not sure what year the picture was taken but based on the clothing...my unintelligent guess would be early 1900's.
Does anybody have any clues to whom the people are in the picture? or, how I might be able to track down the photographer? OR, anything?
