Re: Anthony Gyte - Sheldon/Chelmorton area
I have Mary Gyte, daughter of Anthony, marrying John Naylor in Chelmorton in 1792. They lived in Sheldon. They had 2 children that I know of, John and Thomas, who married Esther Alcard. The family tended to move between Sheldon, Chelmorton and Bakewell, and were farmers and miners. Do you think there might be a link with your Gytes and Naylors? Thanks Janie
