I have a photograph of Anthony Gyte, which is marked on the back "my father's cousin". The father referred to Is my grandfather Anthony Holme of Chelmorton. His mother was Hannah Gyte of Chelmorton. I also have a matching photo of Elizabeth Gyte who I presume is Anthony's sister. They must have moved from Derbyshire to the Liverpool area because one is taken at a photographer's studio in Bootle and the other is taken at one in Liverpool. They are not dated but from the dress I would place them in the1890s or 1900s.

There is an Anthony Gyte born 4th Quater, possibly 4th of December 1842 in the District of Bakewell, parish of Chelmorton. Parents were Tom Gyte & Matilda Lomas.

You would still need to check this yourself, as the data I'm using is second hand. Hope it points you in the right direction though. Ref: Vol. XIX No. 326
