I have also been trying to research the family Gynac. They are from Michigan. My great great grandfather was a Gynac that immigrated from Canada. My grandmother remebers her uncles, Joseph and Arnold. Her mom and sister were Katherine and I cannot remember the other. I have not found to much research on any of them. Let me know if any of this sounds familiar.

Joann, I tried e-mailing you, did you get it?
My grandmother remembers several family member names. She had an uncle arnold, aunt celia, but she says they had other brothers and sisters too. She said there was a Virginia, Annie, Dillia, Fern and a Joseph as well. Do any of these ring a bell?

My father's name was Arnold Joseph Gynac. His sister's name was Celia Gynac. He had a brother named Walter Gynac. I do not know of any other brothers or sisters because my dad never spoke much of his family history. It is a possibility there may have been other brothers and sisters. I remember Celia had 2 girls and Walter had 2 girls an one son.
