Hi... I was thinking.. How far back have recovered your family tree. Iam from Denmark and have just begon to go back. When did your family leave Denmark???

I thought that I would let you know that I am Darlene Gydesen. My father was Stanton Edwin Gydesen, son of Gyde Gydesen and Eva Webster. Gyde Gydesen's parents were Peder Gydesen and Ingaborg Addison; which I believe were from Denmark.
If you find out any more information I would like to know please.
One person that I know of that may be of great help to you would be my cousins, Connie and Haver Gydesen of Lowville, NY. Connie has a tremendous amount of Gydesen information that dates way back. Their number and address is in the telephone book. I do know that they live just on the outskirts of Lowville on Route 12.
I hope I could help you out. And please get in touch with me to let me know what you have found out and how we are related.
