I'm too a direct descendant of the Gwynne's of St Dogmael's. My great grandmother was Emily Ann Gwynne. Her father was the miller of St Dogmaels.

Hello Roger.
I was knocked sideways to stumble upon your message, as I am - "one of the St Dogmaels Gwynnes"! It's not often you read your Grandfather's name mentioned by someone you've never met (ie Benjamin Gwynne) - and I well remember Rachel Anne by the way.
Just to repay the 'shock' element in making contact with long lost relatives, I happen to have photographic evidence of Gwynne Wixon visitng my family at St Dogmaels! and will gladly share scans of same with you. If you're interested, please use my personal email for your next message, so that I can attach various things of interest. hugh.gwynne@btopenworld.com
Pob hwyl,
Hugh

Hi.
My great aunt was Mary Hannah Gwynne (b 22/12/1882 d. June 1971 in West Glam.) - ie the sister of my grandfather Benjamin T Gwynne - whom I never knew incidentally. It seems like you, Roger Wixon and myself are all related, and if I'm correct, Roger and you are very closely related... I well remember Mary Hannah and Benjamin's sister Rachel Ann James (nee Gwynne) who lived all her life in St. Dogmaels - or Llandudoch as it is better called! I was born and bred in Llandudoch and I too still live in Wales - and Welsh is my first language.
Hwyl,
Hugh Gwynne

Hi Roger (Cousin)
I've tried several ways to contact you, including via Ancestry when I was a paid up member. If you get this message try me on facebook or via this message board. I too have lots on Benjamin Gwynne and siblings including photos of your dad.
Please respond.

Hello 'cousin'!
As an 'original Gwynne' from Llandudoch (St Dogmaels) my grandfather was Benjamin, brother of Mary Hannah and Rachel Ann (whom I well remember).
I'd like very much to hear from you - and also from Roger Wixon, who's also posted on this subject. I too live in Wales.
Please respond, either via this message board or by Facebook (Hugh Gwynne).
Best wishes.
Hugh
