I've just started research on this line and have very little information. I have a Louis A. Gwinner b. abt 1864 married to Rose Lazarus b. abt 1871. They both died in Schenectady, NY.

They had at least one son, Louis b. 23 Aug 1896 - married to Helen Cummings b. 29 Dec 1899 in Schenectady. I believe they were married 25 Oct 1927.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated. I also think this family is somehow connected to Arthur von Gwinner.

Thanks,

nancy :-)

I've just learned a little more about my Gwinner family. I received death certificates today that indicate Louis Alfred Gwinner was born 19 Jul 1866 in Pittsburgh, PA. He died 26 Sep 1938 in Schenectady, NY. He was married to Rose Lazarius (Lazarus) and they had one son that I am aware of ... Louis A. b. 23 Aug 1896 in Schenectady, NY.

His parents were Andrew Gwinner b. about 1840 in Wurtemberg, Germany and Pauline Keller.

I'm hoping some of this might sound familiar to someone!

nancy :-)
