There are many Gwinns in Saline, Co. Mo. I am also a descendant of the Gwinns. My g grandmother was Polly Quinn and was married to Bartholomue Huff in the 1800's in Saline Co. I don't know her parents name as yet. I know she was married by Abner Gwinn and Alman Gwinn was my mothers' g. grandfather. He was married toElizabeth His will is on record in Saline, Co. There is a book by the Historical Society of Saline, Co. which mentions many Gwinns. I have some records which I would share. Bennie Sorensen

Sounds like your wife and I share a branch of the tree! The information I have says Bartlett Gwinn was born around 1725-33 in ?England? and died in 1801 in Halifax lCo, Virginia. He had a son, William, who was born circa 1767 or circa 1763 in Virginia. William died in Saline Missouri according to a census. I can't tell by the document if the death was "1840+" or whether that was the year of the census. His wife number 1 was named Agnes Mullins (Aug 7, 1787, VA) and his wife number 2 was named Julia Parker, circa 1805, IN.
