Hi I've been researching into the Gwilt family for a while now. My great grandma is Agnes Gwilt(born1886), who married Walter Tomlinson. Her family moved from Wales to Derby around 1901. She was 1 of 8 children that I know of. Her father Richard Gwilt(born 1858), and her mother Mary Roberts.
Richard was 1 of 11, his father William Gwilt(born 1822) and his mother Margaret Thomas(born 1830) they lived at Three Jacks in Churchstoke.
I would like to find any information that could help me, so if you can help in anyway I will be very greatful. xxx

Hello,

I don't know whether you have made progress with this family. I have found the following:

Churchstoke baptism 12th April 1821
William son of Thomas (blacksmith of Cann Mellington) and Rebecca GWILT.

Churchstoke burial 28 October 1835.
Thomas GWILT of Three Jacks, Blacksmiths Shop age 59.

Possible marriage, Ludford, Shropshire 31 December 1803
Thomas GWILT and Rebecca VAUGHAN

Regards
Peter
