I am also descended of Micahjah.
I don't know where he or Elizabeth are buried, but 2 of their sons are buried in Jordan's cemetery in Harrison county. This is an old cemetery, but it seems the first burials were associated with the start of the church and so Micajah and Elizabeth would have been dead some years before.

My guess is on their land or in a cemetery in the proximity of Mauchport - or between Mauchport and Corydon.

Surnames: Ehrhardt, Ehart
Dear Leslie,

This might be quite a stretch. My GG grandfather was John Henry Ehart, Martha Ehart's older brother (Ephraim Gwartney's wife).

Is it possible you have any information about any of the Ehart family? I do have a bit of info but with many holes. I do know they changed their name from Ehrhardt to Ehart when they entered America.

Martha and John were 2 of 14 children born to Henry Ehart (formerly Heinrich Ehrhardt) and Christina Damm, Hesse, Germany.

Anything you might have would be greatly appreciated. I am also more than willing to share what I have.

Thanks,

Robyn

Please contact me at leslie85223@intergate.com I'll gladly share any information I have with you. I did a little research on Martha and her brothers and found their story very interesting.

Hi, I too am a direct descendant of Julia E. (Gwartney) Roll.

My info says she was child of Micajah and I believe Elizabeth is MacGuffy (without looking at my files I believe this is correct.)
