Hello fellow Guyberson. I am Bruce Guyberson and I'm looking for my far flung relatives. I want to know about our family and I want to know about you. Send me some mail, lets talk.

Hi Mr. Guyberson,

I am related to a Marie L. Guyberson (born Aug.11, 1896 and died July 8, 1955)
She is my great grandmother and married my great grandfather Lewis August Geistert.
I was wondering what the ethnicity of your last name carried.
And also if you know anything about her besides the dates I provided.

Thanks for your help!
Travis

I'm sorry Travis but I don't know anything about her. My mother(Evva Guyberson) didn't know her either but I will look at some family records this weekend and see what I can find out for you. I'm interrested in the Guyberson background also. I know very little about the family. Can you tell me where Marie lived and who her father was? I would really appreciate it. Thanks very much, talk to you soon.

Bruce,

I just found out through a distant uncle's family
tree that Marie's last name was Guyberson. Somehow, he
finally found out what her last name was (we hadn't known for years)
The only thing I can tell you about her besides what I already
know is that she lived in Grand Rapids Michigan and had
two sons and a daughter with Lewis Geistert.
There names are Lewis August Geistert Jr.(1893-1966), Robert Jule Geistert (my gradfather)
1924-1963), and Patricia Ann Geistert (1925-)

Could you please tell me where the name Guyberson comes from.
Is it German, Dutch, English, or Scandinavian???

Thanks for your help,
Travis Geistert

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I have no idea where the name originates. A friend at work who was born in Germany says it sounds northern European. He says he pictures my ancestors with helmets that have bull horns sticking out the sides. If you find out anything please let me know.
