DNA testing - Guscott from Ohio and Devon

If any Guscott here had their DNA tested through Sorenson Genomics, could you please contact me or post back?

The Guscott person tested indicated his family was from Ohio. I have traced this Ohio family back to Devon.

The DNA in the Sorenson database for this Guscott line is an exact match with a Gilbert line from Devon. Would like to discuss it if possible.

I have not been DNA tested or know anything about it, but Lucy Guscott was my great grandmother.

Hello Karen, Hilda Hatter here. We "spoke" April 3rd and 8th about Werner Arno Schmidt, my Uncle (mother's half brother). You mentioned on Apr 8th, Werner's might be the same person. On my Werner's death certificate is the name of informant (his daughter or granddaughter). I've written a letter to her, hoping for a return response. Thought I'd see how your Werner might be related to mine. How did you find Lucy Guscott as you great grandmother? From a Family Bible? Where does Pauline enter the picture? Hope to hear from you soon.

I've always known my great grandmother was Lucy Guscott Bowman. We had reunions with her children (my grandfather and his siblings)when I was a child. As for Pauline...I found her on ancestry.com. She is a shirt tail cousin.

Where did you find Pauline on ancestry.com? I gave up. Reading on a white screen really hurts my eyes; after ck'g various sites, cannot do much more today. When you say Pauline is a "shirt tail" cousin exactly what do you mean?

I am not working the Guscott family line. I'm working on Amandus and son Werner A. Schmidt line. My Schmidt family was born in Germany, both died in the USA.
