It's a fascinating family, isn't it? They must have provided a wealth of material for novelists of the day. And wouldn't it make a great TV series.

There is a stack of information available on the net about this family and its direct descendents. Sadly, my Sarah presumably came from a more humble branch/twiglet of the family and I'm hoping someone may eventually identify her.
