Heinrich and Karoline lived in Ulm. Their children were Benno, Isaac, Adolf, Berta, Pauline, Abraham my grandfather born 15 April 1870, Karl, Cilli and Helene.
I do have further details of their emigration etc, if anyone wants them.

I never received notification that I had replies to my post here... until today when I received one about a new reply and then saw yours. So if I never replied to you previously, sorry! I haven't worked on Gundelfinger since 08, but would love to have any new info. My email is wwh@cfl.rr.com. Thank you!

FYI
The Gundelfingers in Ulm originated in the small town of Michelbach an der Lucke. Otto Stroebel wrote a book about them.
My Gundelfinger grandparents & their 2 teenaged sons escaped to Palestine first, eventually making their way to the US.
Other family members were murdered by the Nazis. One ended up in Mexico.
My grandfather had a scrap metal business in Ulm "Huttenwerk Ulm" that was taken over by Nazis (I think).
Once in the US they changed their name to "Gundel", which was less German sounding and by now, of course the grandchildren/great-grandchildren have different names via marriage.
