I just submitted a family tree but I have only worked on one side of it so far. There was a Clyde Guinn on my mothers side. But the parents were Lizza Cordie Guinn and Dave Wilhoit.

This should be posted in a about a week to 10 days they said.................I hope it helps!

Dear Donna;
My great-great-grandfather was Joshua Guinn, lived in PinHook Landing, McMinn County,Tennessee and was a tanner by trade. My great-grandfather was Leonard Guinn and lso was born in McMinn County, fought with the third Tennessee, Mounted Infantry (Confederate Army) and was captured after the fall of Vicksburg, Mississippi, eventually was released and came to California to a small settlement called California Hot Springs and drove the local stage from Hot Springs to Porterville where it connected with the Butterfield stage line. And this is where our part of the Guinn family ended up. Hope this helps, let me know if you think we are related.

Hello Donna,
I hope I don't have confusion here.In that string of messages with the same subject there were two Donnas one Guinn and one Hall.I have corresponded with one and hope I am not covering old ground.I am a Guinn from the Scottsboro area.My Dad's family was anyway.My Dad was Robert Silas Guinn.He had brothers Ed,John,Henry,Ezra,and Pat,Dad's twin.Sisters were Dosha,Venee,and Lilla as far as I know.I was separated from the family at an early age due to divorce.I recently came to an awareness of how little I know of my own family.I would like to exchange info with you.Please e-mail me at rev.jerry@cedar-rapids.net.
Cheers,Jerry
