Lubin Guedry son of Lubin and and Luce Dugas
I have found an article about the death of young Lubin Guedry. He is not in my line. I would like to get this article to someone who is interested in this Guedry family member. The article is from the Donaldsonville Chief Newspaper in 1892 and tells of young Lubin's accidental death. His uncle according to the article was Proper Dugas and young Lubin lived with Prosper in McCall bruly, LA.

Re: Lubin Guedry son of Lubin and and Luce Dugas
I am not closely related to him, Emile Lubain GUEDRY. I have been recently been made aware of his horrible death circumatances. His mother is my 4th cousin 5 x removed, Anne Marie Lucie DUGAS, daughter of Joseph Traimond Dugas & Marie Melanie Gaillard Denoux... Her older brother Eloi Prosper Dugas was Emile Lubain Guedry's godfather: and also was at the scene when he was recovered from the accidental death and soon died. DOBR Vo 13 pg 264: Emile Lubain GUEDRY (Lubin Guedry & Luce DUGAS) bn. (omitted) bt. 27 June 1874, spo. Re: Lubin Guedry son of Lubin and and Luce Dugas
Do you know if all 3, both Lubin's and mom, Luce Dugas are buried at Ascension Catholic Church Cemetery, in Donaldsonville? I would like to add a memorial to find a grave for him and his parents, if necessary, and link the 3 together. Thank you so much for all of your help.

Re: Lubin Guedry son of Lubin and and Luce Dugas
I could not find them on the Find-a-Grave website, but I do know that the church records indicate he was buried there. DOBR Vol 13 pg 265: Lubin GUEDRY (parents not given) member of the Donaldsonville Canoneers, bur. 12 Aug. 1875, d. yesterday (ASC-28, 83). I will keep up the patrol in the DOBR for a a possible remarriage and for a burial for his wife Anne Marie Luce DUGAS, his mother.
