Hi Victoria! First off, I don't have any information on your horse. SORRY!
But I ran across your posting because I was doing a search for "Gudalewicz". Do you have any information on this family? From reading your other posts, I know your family is from Poland and so I am interested.
My husband's gr-grandmother's maiden name was Gudaliewicz (a classic misspelling!) and they immigrated in the early 1900's from Wilno, Poland. (now Lithuania!) They settled in Hanover, near Brockton, and the father worked in the Fireworks Factory. But all the other family members worked in shoe factories from Abington to Brocton.
I'd appreciate any information you may share!!

HELLO!!
Our family is from a small area called "FERMA", near Trakai (Troki-pre LT occupation). Our Great Grandmother was Pietrunelia Gudalewicz, married Alexander Juszkiewicz and had 2 children. her Daughter, our Grandmother was born there and immigrated in 1906 at age of 5. They settled in Massachusetts.
Do you have any information...I traveled there and could not find ANY Gudalewicz's which was very sad for me. I will dig out my other info and get back to you. I think I have her parent's names.

I know why you couldn't find them there, because during world war 2 (and right after the war) everyone who was polish living in what is now (LT) were kicked out of that country by the Russian's and sent to what is today Poland Gdansk. Europe was occupied but the Russians for many years so people did not stay in Europe for much longer. Some fled to America but my family stayed in Poland until the 1980's then arrived to Canada illegally. My father told me his father had an uncle that he did not know who lived where you live today and immigrated around the same time, 1906. I traveled as well to Poland Gdansk and found my Gudelewicz tree (my grandmother) but i did not look in the States... which could mean anyone with the same name as me are related because there is no other name even similar to mine in North America. Please send me more information and i will find out more about this as well. It has been very nice talking to you. -Mike Gudelewicz

I'm sorry...I didn't get notification of your last posting!
I understand your theory about Poles/Russian occupation, et al however it is not completely accurate. Our family, another 3 branches of the POLISH side, still live in the same villages and some in the same homes as they did prior to WWI. Our grandfather's home(Stankiewicz and Winiewicz), down the road from Ferma-where our Gudalewiczes(Juszkiewicz) are from, is lived in by a cousin and her family. Our Gudalewicz was a female but her brother, Seraphim(?)lived with her/her family, according to 1910 and 1920 US Census. I don't know if he ever married. There was another Gudalewicz family here but the man never answered my letters. I was told they were related (Edward G.) from an old dear cousin who knew his sister, Pauline. I am still awaiting word from Lithuania with more info on the Gudalewicz tree. It takes a while to get info. Let me dig out my Gudalewicz tree, however limited, may have some hidden treasures. BTW, do you want my email? It may be easier for communicating.
