Here is what I can tell you, which probably isn't much more than what you already know... Peter (AKA Peti?) Guditis was born on Aug15 1880 in Riga Lithuania. He was married to Mary Ursula Selski (b 15 Mar 1886) on 20 Nov 1906. He died in Peoria Illinois on 5 Jul 1941 (Ursula died in April 1953, also in Peoria). In the 1930 Federal Census, he stated he was a laborer on the Steam Railroad.
Peter and Ursula had 5 children... Frances Virginia (08Jan1907), Edward Guditis (b 16Aug1909), Rose Ellen (b 15Mar1911). Marion E (24Sep1914), and Bernice (Jan1911).
Frances V. married a Richard Clifton Seeber in 1925 and died in Jan 1971 in Peoria.
Bernice died between 1923-1926 in Peoria, IL.
Rose Ellen married a Hostetter, and died 3May1992 in Kissimmee, FL.
Marion E. married a Reppel, and died on 11Dec1943 in Peoria, IL.
Edward married my great aunt Ruth Delheimer on 25May1935 and died in Peoria ILL in Jan1978. Ruth (b2Dec1910 in Princeville) died on2Feb1992 in Peoria IL.
Edward and Ruth had two daughters, Roberta (13Jun1936) (who married a Farris) and Kay (06Sep1958).
From the looks of what I have, the surname Guditis should have died since there were only daughters (outside of Edward, who only had daughters) to Peter. Of course, there are ~30-40 Guditis' out there... I have to assume I am either missing something or my line doesn't go back far enough and a brother came over with Peter from Lithuania. If anyone has more information that tells more than what I have above or adds farther back, I am interested. Please send it to me at
